One of the most important parts of the worship service in the Portuguese speaking communities is to sing in praise to our Lord. It is very unusual to see a group in worship without a head-projector or a PowerPoint projector, where the letters of the songs are displayed on a screen, so that everybody can sing hands-free and demonstrate their praise in gestures, clapping hands or kneeling. The Portuguese speaking community celebrates the freedom to worship, as is describe in Psalm 100. Therefore, this ministry is availing lists of songs, some in Power Point files others in MS Word files. A great number of the songs in the file "songs in power point 2" come with translation into English and into Spanish, with the most close adaptation to sing in those languages. These songs are used by one of the Brazilian NCD communities, where they sing all the song in Portuguese and English, and sometimes they also do it in Spanish. Open the files, copy them, and use them for the glory of the Lord. |
